BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion & Imaging
Welcome! My name is Mark O’Connor, I am the Programme Director for the Fashion Communications cluster at Epsom. I first became interested in magazine journalism when I was just 8 years old, when I bought the first launch copy of the ‘Face’ the magazine, the magazine that changed culture forever. I knew from that point that I my vocation would be written for me. After 25 years working for some of the biggest news, magazines and fashion brands, I bring my expertise in print and digital publishing and promotion and media to the creative cluster.
Dynamic, bold thinking and adaptable are the qualities our Fashion Promotion & Imaging course hopes to instil in its students, ready for a wide range of careers within the fashion industry.
All students spend a year learning all aspects of the discipline, before selecting one of three fashion pathways – styling and photography, visual communications or promotions.
From here our graduates have created their final projects – focusing their interests and research and development skills to design a self-directed body of work which they’ve chosen to showcase either via a portfolio and/or exhibition.
Warning - this showcase contains explicit content such as scenes of a sexual or violent nature, nudity or features strong language, and is unsuitable for under 18's.
