Our Access to Higher Education in Art and Design is a part-time course, designed to fit in with the lives of students returning to education and for those wanting to explore the many facets of art and design.
It gives students the chance to develop a broad range of skills and either discover new passions or reignite them. After the first term students can choose one of five different pathways of learning – 3D Design & Sculpture, Fashion & Textiles, Fine Art & Photography, Graphics and Moving Image.
We have had an amazing group Access students this year who have embraced the opportunities that the course and the University offers and have produced really exciting work across a wide range of art and design specialisations. They have all sought to broadened their experience, often experimenting with materials and media that they have not previously worked with, and inquiring into personal themes or investigating subjects that are important to them. Their hard work and commitment has resulted in some stunning outcomes that can be seen here.
