Extended Diploma in Art & Design - Canterbury

Equivalent to three A-Levels, our Extended Diploma in Art and Design is a longer pre-degree course over two years. It is designed to give students a more targeted creative arts learning experience, after GCSE’s.

This a great course that looks in year one to build students confidence and knowledge of art and design. Students are introduced to the fundamentals of art and design through drawing, painting, typography, animation, textiles and 3D design. The course introduces the forms art and design can take; from developing concepts, to exploring media and finally considering the techniques of construction.

Students then choose an art and design subject specialist area to work within. What you see here are the amazing results of all the students hard work completed during year two.
