Extended Diploma in Art & Design - Year 2 - Canterbury

Theme

For my final project, I believe I was able to use the skills and techniques that I had learnt over the last 2 projects to create something I am very proud of. Over the whole year of ED2, I have experimented with digital art and texture more than ever and really enjoyed it, although I was intimidated by the idea of digital art in the beginning, I am now comfortable using it for my own work and happy with the results.

Each of my projects is quite different but work for their purposes, I’d never experimented much with making a publication but after using this format for all 3 projects I know that I will use this in my future work. Specifically, on my final project, I had the story idea for a while and  I plan on trying children’s illustration in the future, so I wanted to use this project to explore that. Although it was hard to self-motivate with the pandemic and a useless government (love Boris <3), I believe that what I produced has helped me realize that I really could go deeper into children’s illustration in my work and I know I’ll make more.

My photos are from all three of my projects. Each has its own PDF and a flipHTML page.
