My project is inspired by a coastal walk I took in Cornwall and the unexpected encounter of several engine houses and tin mine stacks.

I aim to convey the deterioration and desolation of this place as well as its power and beauty.

Using three methods of printing:

Devore, burning away fibres in the fabric, creating a silhouette. Placing my photo transparency and exposing the cyanotyped fabric along with flower and fauna, adding layers and depth to my image.
