A Landscape from a Landscape i, ii, iii -2023, is a series of three large paintings exploring and demonstrating how raw materials such as chalk, earth, charcoal, clay and shells can be used within oil painting.
Collecting materials from each landscape and painting them back into the terrain they were from, creates this magical endless cycle of the senses.
Each painting within the series is inherently a work on its own, but it comes together to create a landscape as a whole.
