Emma Duston

BA (Hons) Photography - Farnham

Emma Duston’s photographic practice has ranged from researching spiritual beliefs to analysing relationships with the natural world. She favours the abstract and conceptual, whilst integrating elements of storytelling and narrative in her photography. Influenced by Susan Derges and Ana Mendieta, Duston’s current work features ‘lumen printing’, a cameraless process, and pairs text and image to share something of her own struggle with anxiety and agoraphobia.
