Lily Whitbourn

My Final Major Project is based around the Birds of Paradise.  I have been inspired and influenced by the flamboyant colours seen in nature such us the bright blues in the Superb Bird of Paradise and the oranges and pinks of the Count Reggie’s Bird of Paradise.  I chose to work with a soft flowing fabric to emulate the movement and flight of the bird .  As I am a textiles student, I printed all my own fabric for this project.
