When I was 8 I found out that I was colourblind but was never given information about what difficulties I would have throughout my life. This set the foundation to my project, and I wanted to create work that would be able to inform both children and adults weather they have normal vision or are colour blind. My book ‘All Eyes are Different’ contains information about colour blindness aiming to inform my audience about the disability. I decided that a great way of getting through to my audience was to create a book as it is suitable for all ages. My character Harvey provides a great way of getting through to the reader whilst creating a bond. The font I have used throughout this project is the font that is used when you get your eyes tested at the opticians as I felt that it fitted perfectly with my project. I hope that through looking at my project you are able to learn about how it is to be colour blind.
