This collection addresses the connection between tactility and textural language, in order to inform relation between movement and feeling. It is inspired by Foolen’s look into the metaphorical language of motion and emotion, along side Kawabata’s and Niwa’s phrase ‘Fukurami’ and the description of hand feel. This collection of renders explores how tactility and sensory effects can create emotions through digital means.
‘Fukurami’ – swelling – fullness, softness, loftiness – springy properties with compression and thickness accompanied by a warm feeling.
