UMMEED is a nomadic refrigeration trailer that aspires to rescue rural livelihoods in India by tackling perishable produce waste. This human-centered solution allows marginal farmers to pre-cool ripe bounty onsite before an efficient journey to market in a custom modular trailer. The intervention sustains food, income, and dignity for underserved communities. It ultimately aspires to nurture an empowered, decentralized ethical cold chain that nourishes both people and the planet.
