Victoria Cooper Pedrote uses art not only as a way of protesting about male power in a patriarchal society, but to explore her own identity and picture female self-empowerment. In her latest work Cooper Pedrote catalogues social relations by capturing intimate experiences within her current friend group during and after the Covid pandemic, and through their last year at university. The resulting work, embroiled with love, vulnerability, and nostalgia, forms her first artist book.
