Agelos Kotzias

Heavily inspired by Byzantine and Orthodox culture, this work combines assemblage, painting and referencing this cultural background. This work is about bringing the outside space inside with all its traits and sensations. While as mentioned above, it references orthodox culture and how this affects a city, with its markets, gutters, graffiti on walls, different objects and trash that have something interesting in them. It is an overwhelming environment that, once you enter, enables you to search with your senses details that give context to it.
