Noughts and Crosses

This piece is based off my experience of growing up with adversity. While being in an unpredictable environment, it was a childhood full of love and laughter, this piece represents the contrast between the feelings of euphoria and angst. An echo of my younger self having no power or control of my surrounding. My older self can express my experiences and reflect on the power held over me. A tribute to the hardships that were overcome and new beginnings that lie ahead.
