Fashion is a powerful expression of self identity evolving with ideals of sustainability and high tech innovation. “The urge to save” is now a ‘need’ to turn towards a more balanced and holistic approach. I see myself as an Innovator and an Enthusiast who is a firm believer of sustainable practices. My creative endeavors focus on the synergy of seamless fashion and advanced technology that transcends aesthetics and embraces longevity and change. The accelerating environmental degradation is a growing concern now for the habitat and raises an urgency for designers to revise their practices and reprioritize their goals to address the concern. This intellectual and ethical pressure demands to understand the ecological balance of nature and the responsibility to preserve for our future generations. They are a beginning point to go beyond emulation and harness the processes observed in the ecosystem. They prompt several questions including what are the likely outcomes of the ecological disruption caused in the coming future? Can we avoid design thinking and critical knowledge of creation without extending its due respect? Can we challenge our fears of biofusion aspects, such as invisible microbes, and embrace design translated in aesthetics. This project is an aim to push forward the boundaries of creation keeping in mind the assessment and impact of ecological balance and uncover new approaches of biological symbiosis in design.
