Ava Madeline Dutton

Hello! I’m Ava. I am an animator and multi-disciplinary artist from New York, USA. My short film “Dirt” follows a poem I wrote about the bittersweet union between life and death. I found comfort in knowing that one day I will give back to the world that has given me springtime flowers and food at the breakfast table every morning. The film is dedicated to my recently departed dog, Lily. I thought she was the perfect metaphor for my poem and I wanted to pay tribute to her spirit.
