Abby Peacock

This collection is called, The Sea within seashells . This collection is inspired by my love of the seaside, combining shell formations with the many moods of sea. Through enamelling, my work abstracts the sound of waves crashing as you lay by the shoreline. The glimpse of colour on the back of each shell symbolises a hidden sea that should feel personal to the wearer.

My ideas have come from my love and personal attachment to the sea and water. Being a Windsurfer and windsurf Instructor allows me to spend a-lot of time by the sea and in it, which has help with formulating ideas for my work, and future projects.
