 ‘Eguzkilore (Egu-ski-lor-eh) How the Sun and Moon came to be.’

I am a Kent-based artist exploring the relationship between memory and mythology. My current work focuses on Basque mythology and its origins. I am particularly interested in the symbolic role of constellations and how they have been used and represented throughout many cultures. I re-imagine these mythological characters, constructing my own constellation in representation of that. Using techniques such as puppetry and shadow play, my piece has evolved into an installation that invites you to pause, reflect, and immerse yourself in the story.
