My work is mainly inspired by my own life, using life events and experiences to connect to my art, and tell my own story through my chosen medium.
‘Haze’ has been inspired by my own everyday battle with bipolar disorder and the chaos it brings with each cycle. This is something that i struggle with daily and still am unable to always understand what is happening to me.
I wanted to portray the behaviour of the cycles and how rapid they can become, causing confusion and a haze where everything interacts with each other and it becomes unclear what stage of the cycle we are in.
Haze is a 3 minute animated short film using 2D digital software, focusing on the bright colours of red and blue contrasting against a black background to enhance the moments of chaos.
