Avni Sukhija is a visual designer whose practice explores the intersection of motion, digital media, and immersive visual experiences. Through a process-led approach, she combines experimentation with both physical and digital techniques to investigate how abstract concepts can be translated into engaging visual narratives. Her work is driven by curiosity, material exploration, and a growing interest in 3D design, moving image, and spatial storytelling.
Emotional Simulation explores the visualisation of human emotion through movement, colour, rhythm, and digital form. Inspired by the relationship between sound, perception, and emotional response, the project examines how intangible internal experiences can be represented through abstract motion graphics and generative visual systems. The work was developed through extensive experimentation across a range of media, including lino printing, clay modelling, photography, projection mapping, 3D design in Blender, and motion graphics. These investigations informed the final moving image piece, creating a dynamic visual environment that reflects the fluid and evolving nature of emotional experience.
