With their help in uplifting your mood it helps reduce your anxiety, increasing your calmness and reducing any feelings of isolation. Petting a cat is a way to express your affection and satisfy our needs to nurture. Their purring in response is what can trigger a positive response in our bodies, making us feel calm and content. Whether you like cats or not, they are amazing companions that aid humans a lot more than you initially realize.
