This piece represents two sides of the same coin; one being a utopian world full of compassion, where we view one another on the same level with no aspect of superiority. Seeing past the material body and acknowledging the soul.
The other side shows the imposition humans have on the earth and the destruction we cause, a world where people only gratify their sensual pleasures and disregard other lifeforms.
It is designed to be rotated, reinforcing the notion of choice, the world is constantly turning but we have the power to chose which direction to move in. Which side of humanity will rise to the top? a self serving opresiveve force – or a collective driven by love, becoming ungovernable in its resistance? Alternatively, the piece may belong on its side with a perfect balance of good and evil. as one cannot exist without the other.
