Tactile Nostalgia
An interactive system inspired by the physical ritual of vinyl record ownership – to demonstrate and showcase how meaningful connection with music is deepened by it’s tangibility as a record.
Each small record is tagged, and when scanned sends the user to a specific website that tells the story of music and it’s relationship with physical formats. The user must partake in the ritual of removal from storage and un-sleeving of a record in order to access the information, as part of the User Experience.
