My FMP is a Triptych showcasing the rich history of Vauxhall SE11, my heritage and the regeneration of the area. The three panels are made in the form of quilts representing comfort and warmth.

The view from Lambeth Pier is much altered from the 1960’s but it still transports me back to my childhood, evoking feelings of nostalgia, comfort and a loss of community. In a time of social media, we have been given the chance to come together and share memories of those times that are slowly fading.

This is my journey to the past and to witness the regeneration of Vauxhall SE11.
