My practice consists of a repetitive method of fabrication involving gilding, pattern, and burning. This process delves into the space between the act of creation and the final artwork, highlighting how the intersection between the creation process and the final piece comes together to make the work complete. Although the resulting pieces might at first glance seem chaotic and unstructured, each mark is carefully planned and crucial to the artwork’s completion.
