A Type Specimen for the Future – ISTD Brief 2025
My response to the brief subverts and challenges traditional expectations of type specimens. Typically used to showcase a typeface’s capabilities, this project disrupts that norm through varied paper sizes and fold-outs that slow down interaction, encouraging a more intentional viewing experience. Each paper size offers a unique experience, reflecting the culture of each language.
