Eszter Mate-Safar

As a concept for a historical RPG set in 16th century Brussels, this project follows a young woman striving to break free of her ordained social status and into the then-contemporary art world. Centring the politics and intrigue of the late Northern Renaissance’s halcyon days, Portrait of an Unknown Figure aims to capture the quest of an ambitious aspiring artist willing to go to any length to make her mark.
