Theme

I am infatuated with steel’s colour and sound. Its new given kinetic body becomes activated via us; we pull it up and lower it down.  The chiming of the thousands of loops that hold it together engulfs the space. This wish to invade the site forces our co-existence and dependency; my work must find a home; the space must be filled. This sparked the mass of metal, the protective blanket that can finally find rest inside the gallery walls.

We interact with the steel aiding it’s becoming, supporting its wish to move and sound.
