My current work is inspired by Modernist art and architecture; layers, forms and negative spaces created between strong silhouettes, and the use of visual tension within Modernist design.
Using subtractive processes and traditional materials, I create surfaces rich in texture and colour. Pierced surfaces cast delicate shadows evocative of tracery and allow views of the layers below.
