‘Stocks and Stockings’ is a comic based on my own reflection of the femme fatale archetype. Susie fantasises about being a femme fatale to escape from her mundane office job. Daydreaming and reading her Noir-Fiction book leads to a lacklustre work performance. Her Boss gives her an ultimatum: mentor the new employee Claire or lose her job. Though once acquainted, Susie finds herself being the one mentored as her fantasies start to become reality.
