Hello! I am Jaehyo Park, a student majoring in Fashion Branding and Communication, aspiring to become a creative director. For my final graduation project, I created Se Dépeindre, a brand that explores intangible elements such as memory, emotion, and identity through clothing.
I often draw inspiration from the quiet, fleeting moments of everyday life, always beginning my work with the question: “How can fashion help us recover silent emotions?” I believe that clothing can be more than appearance; it can become a gentle tool to reflect, comfort, and rediscover oneself.
Se Dépeindre is not just a clothing label, but a storytelling brand built on the idea of “wearing emotions.” I developed and directed the brand’s whole strategy — from identity building and market research to a tailored marketing mix. The collection uses faded pastel tones, hand-embroidered handwriting, and softly washed fabrics to express the memories and emotions of a forgotten childhood. The campaign goes beyond a traditional lookbook, combining poetic narration, printed materials, and emotional short films to leave space for the viewer’s own interpretation and reflection.
To enhance the brand experience, I also designed a pop-up store concept that includes a T-shirt customization zone and a fragrance-making corner, allowing visitors to physically engage with their memories and emotions.
For me, fashion is not simply a sensory product; it’s a vessel for emotion and memory. I hope to continue building brands where stories and feelings are gently interwoven, and to become a creative director who helps people look at themselves a little more kindly through design.
