My main concept for the degree show involves a large-scale (6ft) plush pink rabbit, scaled beyond its typical function as a comforting object. This

bunny operates as a familiar symbol of childhood, evoking softness and emotional attachment. However, its size disrupts this intimacy, transforming it into something more exposed and noticeable.

The ‘receipt’ or terms and conditions text piece besides the bunny introduces the idea of transaction and value. As an item associated with purchase and exchange, it reframes the teddy from a source of comfort to a commodity, cute but ultimately disposable. The proximity displays the way in which individuals are tied to their purchases, stuck in a loop of overconsumption, and how children are taught that comfort is something that can be purchased.

It critiques a culture in which consumption replaces intimacy and care, leaving the viewer feeling guilty for participating in these systems, confronted with their own role within cycles of desire and possession.
