This showcase presents my project Between Languages, which explores how living between Chinese and English shapes identity, emotion and self-expression. Using woven strips of printed Chinese and English text, I create a layered surface in which the two languages overlap, interrupt and partially obscure each other. The work reflects my experience as a Chinese student living abroad, where language is not only a tool for communication but also a space of translation, distance, familiarity and change. Through material, typography and structure, the piece visualises the feeling of existing between two linguistic worlds.
