Optical Rhythms – Directional Creative Portfolio

My final major project documents and explores the intersection of art, science, and mindfulness by creating woven installations featuring optical illusions inspired by the microscopic patterns of flowers. I have used a variety of silk and iridescent lurex yarns to create a smooth, gloss-like combination of materials throughout my pieces. By translating these intricate natural designs into woven textures and hanging installation pieces, the project aimed to craft immersive, calming environments that engage the senses and invite contemplation.
