Anatomy of Silent Romance is a digital fashion and gaming project that explores the emotional and psychological states of Gen Z through symbolic garment design and immersive storytelling.

Set in a surreal, gothic-inspired mansion, the player journeys through six portals, each representing an archetype and a hidden emotional layer. As players unlock pieces of a shattered mirror, they are metaphorically reconstructing their fragmented identity.

The final reflection reveals a digital garment that symbolically aligns with their emotional journey.

The Banshee symbolises the urge to scream but not be heard. Gen Z often communicates mental health struggles indirectly through sounds and music, meme or venting. The Banshee channels that emotional noise trapped in silence, where grief and sadness float under the surface.

The Vampire reflects the performance of desirability and curated allure on social media. Gen Z often navigates the pressure to look flawless, mysterious and untouchable. The Vampire is a metaphor for feeding on attention, projecting confidence, but feeling emotionally distant beneath it all.

In a world of constant visibility, disappearing becomes powerful. Ghosting, blocking, muting and vanishing from platforms are common coping mechanisms. The Grim Reaper represents the emotional tension of being unseen by choice or by others and the quiet rebellion of absence.
