SS26 Ashboune Womens inspired from a sci-fi reality story called, The Last City. The Last City, once a symbol of human emotion and power, now lies in ruins. Before this, people were often controlled by the higher powers and emotions, succumbing to them and unable to live for themselves. The fall of civilization signifies the end of power and a sense of relief. The Architects, survivors of the past, rise to rebuild a new world and reshape the new human form for people to live for themselves and find their true selves. They build new homes from the ruins of the old world and make clothes like armour reflecting their environment’s brutalist style, protecting them from harsh people and things. This collection celebrates the journey to the end of the world, where decay and destruction collide with creation and hope, fusing elements of ruin, resilience and transformation, blending dark, avant-garde and apocalyptic elements with a sense of regeneration and resistance.
