The creative inspiration comes from the public’s perception of my hometown Putian as the “City of counterfeit shoes”. Thus, in a virtual world, Putian is reimagined as a highly prestigious forgery capital, endowing it with brand charm that attracts fans like a trendy brand. Based on real research, different print media are used to present the details of the manufacturing process of fake shoes, integrating reality and fiction to create an atmosphere that is both surreal and almost magical.
