My Showreel consists of my films Strokes of Wildflowers, Pomegranate and Nurture.
My Graduation film, Strokes of Wildflowers, is short animated documentary. My film is animated with charcoal, paint and ink on paper, using flowers as a metaphor for a form of connection with others.
For my graduation film, I knew I wanted to create a film about strokes. I have seen the wide variety of ways strokes can affect people. I wanted to represent this in the film and show how much community has an impact on the recovery process. I conducted interviews with multiple stroke survivors who use the services of Stroke Care for Newbury. These interviews form the narration for my film.
This film is dedicated to my grandmother and all the stroke survivors who were involved.
