Mai Buckingham

In this piece, I took a different approach from my usual works. Typically, my artworks are pen-on-paper illustrations inspired by horror films and the music I listen to. However, I became fascinated by working with cyanotypes on fabric and exploring how fabric layers interact when stitched together and hung up. While I maintained my signature morbid tone, my goal was to create something disturbing without relying on gore to provoke a reaction.
