Titled “Timeless Reflections,” this project encapsulates my memories, culture, and personal experiences, transforming them into visual forms that celebrate Newari heritage. Drawing inspiration from the Machindranath Jatra festival, I have created a series of symbols that reflect the deep stories and traditions of this rich cultural event. These symbols are integrated into poster designs, featuring Ranjana Lipi—a traditional script—reimagined in contemporary forms. In an era where consumer culture often prioritizes trends over heritage, this project offers a meaningful alternative. By blending traditional elements with modern design, it seeks to keep our heritage alive and relevant in today’s world. The goal is to ensure that these cultural symbols resonate with contemporary lifestyles, making them both engaging and enduring. Through this fusion of past and present, “Timeless Reflections” adds value to cultural icons, allowing them to be appreciated in a new light while maintaining their deep connection to our roots.
