Hello, I am Mariana Silva, a Music Business and Management student. As I approached my Degree Project, I was driven by a passion for the Live Music Industry and Events. 

The Acoustic Notes represents the culmination of my aspirations, blending my love for music, event production, and my Portuguese heritage into a unique and unforgettable experience.

Acoustic Notes is a sustainable vineyard acoustic festival encircled by the nature of the Portuguese coastline and its beautiful green landscapes, focused on acoustic performers and Portuguese culture. Is a special and one-of-a-kind event to be called an experience. A place where you can enjoy exclusive performances by acoustic artists and indulge in gourmet food and wine pairings, having access to luxurious amenities – a family-friendly exclusive experience involving acoustic music and Portuguese culture. “Sitting with Nature, not overpowering Nature”

From an early age, I have been captivated by the power of live music to bring people together and create lasting memories. Working in the live music industry has always been my dream, and this project is a step towards realizing that dream. I wanted to create an event that exemplifies the magic of live performances in a setting that enhances the sensory experience for attendees.

As a Portuguese student, I wanted to create an event highlighting Portugal’s beauty, and culture. The stunning landscapes of Comporta provide a perfect backdrop for Acoustic Notes, offering a unique and picturesque setting that can only be found in this part of the world. This festival is a tribute to my roots and an opportunity to share the richness of Portuguese culture with a global audience.

The concept of “Sitting with Nature, not overpowering Nature” is central to Acoustic Notes. I am committed to sustainable event production that respects and enhances the natural environment. This project allows me to explore innovative ways to integrate sustainability into live events, setting a standard for future productions.

Acoustic Notes is designed to be more than just a music festival. It is an exclusive and sophisticated experience combining Portuguese cuisine, fine wines, and acoustic performances. By curating an event that appeals to a mid to high-end audience, I aim to create a holistic experience that celebrates the finer things in life.

Working on this project has provided me with invaluable experience in event planning, production, and management. It has allowed me to develop a wide range of skills, from researching sustainability practices to task prioritisation. This experience is crucial as I pursue a career in the live music industry and event production.
