This project explores theories surrounding gender through the design of shower products. Since visual conventions often go unnoticed, my outcome uses shape and colour to shed light on the binary assumptions and gender stereotypes embedded within everyday packaging design, challenging normative perceptions and promoting a more fluid spectrum of gender representation.
This specific pairing of bottle shapes and deconstructions were derived from a comparative analysis of male and female variants of the same shower products, selected from a range of brands found in local shops.
