Nowhere & Everywhere is an illustrated memoir exploring the fragmented nature of home, memory, and belonging. Inspired by my experiences of migration across Brazil, Canada, Italy, and England, the work takes the form of a concertina book combining watercolour illustrations, symbolic motifs, and narrative mapping. It reflects the emotional geography of displacement—where “home” becomes less a fixed place and more a layered collection of memories, friendships, and resilience. This project brings together research, experimentation, and deeply personal storytelling to create a visual narrative that invites viewers to reflect on their own journeys of belonging.
