I’ve picked some of the work I’m most proud of that I’ve created at my time at UCA to showcase my love for texturing and prop making. I’ve most enjoyed when our class invited game company Supermassive into our assignments so that we understood their pipelines and were inspired by how to bring together narrative and texturing to create props that told a story, and my showcase reflects so.
For my final 3rd Year project, I’ve created a spawn point of a small, narrative-heavy game that tackles the effects of colonization through the eyes of a young girl searching for her mother. The design is heavily inspired by middle-eastern bedouin culture, and I am currently working on the narrative, dialogue and interactive aspects as well as modeling the outside world.
So far I have modeled the inside of the protagonist’s house and captured the peacefulness of the calm before the storm.
