The game project is named RIPPLE. The inspiration for the game’s name comes from the butterfly effect, where any small intervention in the game has the potential to bring about long-term emotional improvement. Design objectives: Through the design of a relaxing and interesting healing-style game with cute visuals and music assistance, it aims to help players who like to relieve stress through cute things successfully release psychological pressure and reduce anxiety levels.

The game consists of four components:

The first part is a chat scenario with AI, where players share their anxiety with an AI therapist. The AI therapist provides different emotional values based on the players’ characteristics.

The second part features cute-style stress-relief game scenes. Two stress-relief game scenarios are designed as examples in this project. Players release emotions and alleviate stress by drumming and popping bubbles. I used high-saturation colors and cute elements to design this scene, making it vibrant and fast-paced. By drumming, players can change the rising speed and quantity of particles around the buildings.
The popping bubbles scene has bright colors but a more soothing rhythm. Players can pop bubbles floating in the tunnel while walking through it.

The third part is a private memory island floating in mid-air. By touching memory orbs, players can record their daily emotions and experience a peaceful natural environment.

Meanwhile, I designed an emotional calendar based on the game’s visual style and color changes of the four seasons. I aim to convey a visual language of nature, freedom, fluidity, and softness through this calendar design.
