Theme

I am a mixed media artist, working primarily with film, performance and installation to explore how presence and absence shape perception. My practice engages with ‘Post Traumatic Traces’; the stains and residue that unveil the unseen markers of emotional labour. Through fragmented narratives I question the structures that provoke the cyclical nature of care, harm and healing- questioning their impact on identity.

‘Chiron’s Rule; Legacy of Traces’ is a two-part film installation exploring the visual and material language of trauma. It invites you into a border space where the unstable nature of repair and concealment becomes visible, shifting and accumulating without resolve. The work reflects on contradictions within acts of care and self-preservation, revealing how trauma engraves itself across bodies and surfaces. Honouring traces not as a remnant of the past, but as an active force in perception and experience.
