Shi Hong Kuang

I made a film in 3 weeks. I was given the script, and asked to direct. Because we had to hit over 12 minutes, I decided the script wasn’t long enough, so I changed the story around. We didn’t make a shot list, mostly just shooting ideas we had based on what was around. The main things were to communicate a story using colour, and to replicate cinematography techniques from Hong Kong cinema, like Chungking Express.
