My project explores childhood, nostalgia, and the longing people often feel for the innocence and simplicity of youth as they grow older. Through photography, I investigate how childhood has been experienced across different eras, looking at the environments, objects, activities, and emotions that shaped young people’s lives in each period. By recreating and capturing elements from these different times, my work reflects both personal and collective memories, highlighting how nostalgia connects generations and influences the way we remember the past. The project aims to evoke emotion and encourage viewers to reflect on their own childhood experiences and the changing nature of growing up over time.
