Horn OK Please studies the hand-painted trucks of India and redraws what it finds there, from the icons and border patterns down to a custom typeface built off the hand-lettering itself. Truck art gets treated properly across this project, as a design language worth working from, not a texture to borrow from once and move on.
The project is built as an interactive site: a Truck Anatomy explorer that breaks a painted truck down part by part, a generator that lets anyone build their own polaroid-style patch from the same visual system, and a full case study for DIPPER, a condom brand built by crashing that same truck art language into Sivakasi matchbox labels.
