My work explores the tension between comfort and vulnerability, presence, and disappearance. Using the duvet—a domestic object symbolizing warmth, security, and the private self, I engage in a series of gestures that blur the line between concealment and revelation. The performance becomes a ritual of self-conversation, where movement, stillness, and material weight embody fleeting emotional states. In this act, I attempt to forget my identity, culture, and desire, allowing the body to speak without language. The duvet becomes both shield and stage—holding traces of memory, absence, and transformation. As I activate the fabric, I invite the viewer into an uncertain space between the seen and the unseen, the material and the immaterial. This work reflects my ongoing investigation into the temporality of being, where the body, like a cloud, exists only momentarily before it dissolves—leaving behind the imprint of a quiet confession.
